75 San Diego State students arrested in drug bust

The San Diego County district attorney’s office has divulged that 96 students from San Diego State University were arrested in a drug bust. A five month undercover operation unearthed the drug operation, which involved buyers and sellers.
The officers seized 50 pounds of marijuana, marijuana plants, four pounds of cocaine, ecstasy pills, mushrooms, hash oil, and prescription drugs. The police also seized a shotgun, three pistols, and $60,000 cash.
One suspect was found with 500 grams of cocaine and two guns.
A student, who worked for campus police, was also among those arrested. He was one month away from graduating with a masters degree in Homeland Security.
The defendants are scheduled to appear in court today.
